Instructions for account amendments

Please provide the following:

• Email or Letter with confirmation of the rationale for the name change. 
• Certified copy of the change of name certificate – if a company.
• Certified copy of the deed of amendment – if a trust.
• A list of account numbers to be updated.

Please provide the following:

• Change of Signing Authority (CoSA) form or, if more substantial changes are being made to your signing arrangements, we would recommend completing a new mandate.
• A CoSA form can only be accepted if the existing mandate held was submitted after September 2016.  If prior to this date, a new mandate must be completed.
• A current list or register of Directors (if a company) or Members/ Partners (if an LLP) – this is required to verify whoever has signed off the mandate or CoSA form or has the appropriate authority.  For a Luxembourg incorporated entity, we can rely on a copy of the current RCS Extract.  

Please provide the following:

• The signatory list must be in an acceptable format that includes the full names of the authorised signatories, their position and signing group (if applicable) and provide clear specimen signatures in black ink (please note that typed digital signatures cannot be accepted).

• The signatory list must include clear signing rules and include a rule of unlimited amounts
• A covering letter must accompany the signatory list which must be signed by a Director or Company Secretary (if a company) or Member/ Partner (if an LLP) on behalf of the legal entity the signatory list is in the name of.  The letter must confirm what changes are being made to the previous signatory list, including updates to the authorised signatories, signing groups and also any change of signatory names, e.g. a signatory adopting their married name.

• A current list or register of Directors or Members/ Partners (as applicable) for the legal entity the signatory list is in the name of – this is required to verify whoever has signed off the covering letter has the appropriate authority.  For a Luxembourg incorporated entity, we can rely on a copy of the current RCS Extract.

N.B. for customers using the Cygnetise fixed (historic) link to update their authorised signatory list, the same requirements apply.

Please provide the following:

• A certified copy of the structure chart.
• A certified copy of the register of shareholders.

Please provide the following:

• A letter from the new administrator confirming details of the customer delivery channel and confirmation of the new significant controllers.
• A certified copy of the up-to-date register of directors.
• A completed mandate and authorised signatory list together with a register of directors to verify the individual(s) signing the mandate is/are authorised to do so.
• A signed and certified copy of Minutes/Resolution confirming the resignation of the old and an appointment of the new parties. 
• A certified copy of the Deed Of Retirement & Appointment (DORA) if Trustees are changing. 
• EQ linking form.

Please provide the following:

• A certified copy of the register of directors.
• If a director that is being removed is a significant controller, then we would need an up to date list of the significant controllers and ID&V for any newly identified significant controllers.
• Identity and verification (ID&V) is required for all Luxembourg managers on Luxembourg accounts. 
• Identity and verification (ID&V) is required for 2 directors on Isle of Man accounts.
• If the entity falls under the 2006 act we only require 1 director and this can be a corporate one.
• If the entity falls under the 1931 act we require 2 directors with no corporate directors.

Please provide the following:

• A completed liquidator's mandate (with associated signatory list if applicable). Please contact the amendments team at IBamendments@rbsint.com to request the mandate.
• Identity and verification (ID&V) for the new Liquidator.
• Reason for Liquidation.

Please provide the following :

• An instruction from the customer signed in accordance with the mandate, confirming the change & rationale for the change.

Please provide the following:

• The charge document.
• Updated Signatory List.
• ID&V.

Please provide the following:

• Deed of release.
• Signatory list prior to the appointment of SIA.
